Public Art
Art is a crucial element of our life. Our public art projects include neighborhood gateway sculptures, such as “The Pathway to Peace” at Lake Harriet (in collaboration with Teri Kwant) and custom park and playgrounds such as Round Lake Playground, Eden Prairie, MN (a nautical theme) and “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” the custom designed theme playground at Valley View Park, Bloomington, MN. Incorporation of art enhances every site and does not have to add to the project cost.

Pathway to Peace
In 2003, Greg Ingraham, along with fellow public artist Teri Kwant, constructed a series of seven cairns that conveyed the theme of peace. The cairns link the Lake Harriet Peace Gardens with the Lyndale Farmstead Park. The cairns are made of limestone with different types of smaller stones piled as anchient pathway markers would have years ago.

Midtown Greenway
Scheduled for construction in 2006, Greg Ingraham and Teri Kwant designed a series of rest stops along the Midtown Greenway. The Greenway is a bike trail that was constructed on an old railway bed running east from Lake Calhoun to the Mississippi River. The rest stops are located on the far east end of the Greenway from Minnehaha Ave. to the Mississippi River. The theme of the art is personal journeys. Each of the five rest stops has its own subtheme: Nature, Culture/Subculture, Entertainment, the Past, Work. Each of these rest stops will ask you a question about your life's journeys. The art will consist of benches, sculptures of shoes, fence panels and a guidepost sculpture. Each site focuses on a distinctive theme related to journeys through the neighborhood, the city and life.
